Helllllo!

My day today, was jam packed with littleBIG events….

Event #1: Running in the rain.
Okay, maybe this isn’t a big event but it was such a good way to spend my morning! Being the only girl out there with ton of guys running in the downpour made me feel super bad arsee!
**On the subject of fitness, does anyone have any good ab/core workouts?!

Event #2: American Politics and Economics Midterm.
I love this class, but I am a horrible test taker! I also find that studying the day of the test or even the day before to be completely useless. If I haven’t gotten by then, chances are I wont learn it then. A risky move but it’s one I played. Let’s hope the end results are in my favor!

Event #3: Marketing Events Midterm.
MY FAVORITE CLASS! Sadly though some answers were left blank. I tried my best to remember them, but the answers just wouldn’t come to me! As I turned in my test with my head hanging low, my teacher saved me from the harshness of my thoughts by giving introduction to my big idea, and gave me the floor in front of the entire class…..

Event #4: MY BIG IDEA
I took center stage and lay out my dreams on the table for the class to either reject or accept. THEY ACCEPTED! My teacher also agreed to be my mentor and said she was so happy and proud I came up with this idea…are you ready to hear what it is!?

When I was in 2nd grade one of my best friends got really sick and had to go stay at Stanford Children’s Hospital. My mom would drive me to hours to go up and see her. Having other children as well being an owner of a store, it was difficult for my mom. She did it anyways. It helped my friend forget she was sick, even if it was only for a few hours. I can remember always being sad after we left, not only because I had to leave my best friend behind, but because of all the other children that were left there too. (Note: She recovered. We made it to middle school and went our separate ways. Sad, but it’s a part of growing up.) Flash forward to today…. My big idea is to put on a huge non-profit event for stanford children’s hospital. It will be a fashion show featuring young designers from my school, as well as a dinner (or lunch). This is going to be such a great way for girls (and little boys if they wish!) to experience the world of fashion and forget for a while where they are. Hopefully it will inspire one or two of them to be future designers!

I am so excited that so many people were interested. It’s a long road to pull this off with many obstacles ahead, but I know I’ll be able to pull it off:)

Event #5: I’m not perfect.*note:very personal*
When I got home I was happy about my pitch, but I couldn’t help thinking about those unanswered questions, then I looked in the mirror and negative thoughts were a flowin! Luckily, I came across this post: Mission: I feel pretty., posted by Katelyn. It was absolutely what I needed!

Event #6: Ifeelhotmyspacepicture

Event #7: FOOD!
Always the main event in my life, haha.

Overnight Oats…mmmmmm so good!

My lunch/snacks for the day….

A wrap (close up below), Brussels sprouts, 2 oranges, Lemon Larabar, Dark Chocolate, Chopsticks, and my beloved Camelbak water bottle.

Hannah Fun Fact # 1: I only use chopsticks to eat! If its soup or oats (or anything that can’t be eaten with chopsticks) I use a gerber toddler/baby spoon. I hate using metal utensils. They kinda weird me out.

My yummy wrap with hummus, black beans, and avocado. This is actually from yesterday….it’s the same thing but the lighting turned out better in this one!

For dinner I decided to reward myself for a good day and overcoming my negative self talk with……
One of Katies pizzerts.
BEST DECISION EVER!
It was then followed by a few bites of artisana coconut butter….I just cant get enough!

What are some littleBIG events you’ve had lately?

Thanks! People always think I’m weird when I whip out chopsticks to eat every meal, haha. Then again, they also think the food I have is weird….psh, they don’t know what they are missing.

That photo of you is great! I think it’s so awesome that you eat with chopsticks, I can’t even put them in my hands right, let alone eat with them!! πŸ™‚

I think that is such a great idea! I wish I could use chopsticks well enough to eat everything with them! Coconut butter is thee best.

I’m super jealous of your coconut butter.
Congrats on the big idea, it’s so sweet and inspirational!!!
My littleBIG event of today would be buying really cute shoes. I’m not the biggest fan of shoe shopping because I’m super picky, but I found a pair of boots and a pair of flats that I adore! So that was very exciting.
