My new obsession.

May 27, 2011

Hello Lovebugs!

I’m sorry my blog has been boring lately. Last week when I said I thought things would slow down, turns out they haven’t! They’ve sped up, and it doesn’t look like there is a chance of them slowing down within the next few weeks. Since my camera has been acting funky, I wasn’t able to take many pictures this week. That is until I got my IPHONE! Which I am already obsessed with. (Do you have words with friends, let’s play!)

I remember reading about Megan’s grade school inspired lunch and today my lunch and snacks reminded me of something I would have had then too!

Brown Rice Wrap, PB&J, and Bananas
Larabar, Fruit Wrap, mandarins, cherry tomatoes, and carrots.
Yumm.
Vegan/Gluten Free Polenta with some super spicy salsa!
Desserts resembled my oats…without the oats! Bloobs, strawberries, a few chocolate chips, peanut butter, cinnamon, and almond milk.

I prepping myself for an insane next couple of weeks so please forgive me if my posting is sporadic! If anyone would like to do a guest post for me I would love you for a million years!

What did you like to eat in grade school?

What is your favorite dessert?

Do you play words with friends? Or scrabble, haha.

woo!! I just found out I can eat nut butters so I see a “grade school luncH” in my future too! My mom used to pack me organic ramanlike noodles in a thermos but they’d congeal and get all cake-like- ewww. I used to steal Sydney’s buttered bowtie noodles…erm…she’d share with me.
    favorite dessert? froyo?

I was always a big sandwich eater as a kid! Especially peanut butter and jelly! I also liked really random things that other kids thought as weird, like hard boiled eggs as a lunch! In elementary school my friends and I would all take our snacks and make a huge pile of them, all mixed together and share them. I can’t tell you how much that woud gross me out now!

I loved avocado sandwiches in elementary school…..I was a weird third grader 😉 Favorite dessert would be anything chocolate or anything carrot cakey. Scrabble and Words with friends is so much fun! Way too addicting….. If you need a guest post, let me know. I ‘ve never done one before but I’d be happy to help!

I would but it’s store bought! I got it from trader joes because my mom said I would like it. I did and now I wanna try to make it myself, so when I do, I’ll for sure post the recipe!

When I was in grade school I ate turkey sandwiches almost everyday. I actually did that up until about 2 years ago when I stopped eating meat!
I agree with Kat, bananagrams is so much fun! It comes in a little banana shaped bag. It’s so cute!!
